Amealco, Tequisquiapan & Bernal Day Trip
Day Trip Details
At the designated time, we'll meet at number 64C Independencia Street, close to the Plaza de Armas square, and from here we'll head to the famous Magic Towns in the area.
The first stop on our day trip will be Amealco, where we'll learn about the history of its church and main square. We'll also visit the Museum of the Artisan Doll and learn all about the origins of these beautiful toys and how they're made.
Our next stop will be the Magic Town of Tequisquiapan, which is considered the geographic center of Mexico. Picturesque squares such as Miguel Hidalgo, charming churches, artisan stores, and many other surprises await us on a guided tour of this town.
From Tequisquiapan, we'll head to Bernal. When we get there, you'll probably find yourself casting your gaze up to the sky. This will be because of the town's striking Peña de Bernal, which is one of the largest monoliths in the world.
After visiting the historic center, you'll have 1 hour of free time to have lunch before we return to Santiago de Querétaro, where we'll drop you off at your hotel, anywhere between 8 to 10 hours after the start.
