Teno Rural Park Hike
Description
At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the public square of Santiago del Teide, from where we'll begin this hiking tour around the Teno Rural Park. Let's go!
We'll begin our journey in the middle of the park, a place known for its impressive landscapes and panoramic views. We'll take the trail which will bring us through the farming areas and towards a typical Canarian farmhouse, where we'll learn about the real rural life on the island.
Then, we'll continue hiking through the mountain's dividing line, where we'll have some of the most spectacular views of the Masca and Carrizales Valleys, as well as the majestic La Gomera Island on the horizon. Photo time!
After marvelling at these views, we'll enter a pure laurel forest, a truly unique ecosystem, which will make you feel as though you're on another planet. There, we'll have the chance to experience the freshness of the forest and the beauty of its flora and fauna.
Finally, we'll arrive at a picturesque town where you'll have some free time to rest and recharge. Fancy trying some delicious Canarian cuisine at a local restaurant? Or perhaps you'd prefer to browse the market for a souvenir? It's up to you!
Between 5 and 6 hours later, depending on the pace of the group, we'll arrive at Masca Square.
