Following collection from your hotel in Santiago de Chile, you'll begin your half-day excursion heading in the direction of the commune of Talagante. After a comfortable minibus ride through around 25 miles (40 km) of beautiful Chilean landscapes, you'll arrive at the Undurraga Winery, famous for being one of the country's oldest wineries, and the very first Chilean vineyard to export wines to the United States.
Explore the grounds surrounding the winery, visiting the family park and the Aliwen area, where you'll find a number of ceremonial wooden sculptures celebrating the culture of the Mapuche people, an indigenous group native to this area of Chile.
Inside the Undurraga Winery, you'll enjoy a guided tour to learn all about the production processes that have been carried out here for over 140 years. You'll then get to discover the underground wine cellars, which date back to Undurraga's foundation at the end of the 19th century and have been ageing their Reserva wines throughout the years since then.
Complete your experience and see how much you've learnt on your tour with a wine tasting. You'll have the opportunity to sample three different wines, discovering the distinct elements that makes each one special.
At the end of your wine tour and tasting experience, you'll be taken back to your hotel in Santiago de Chile.
