Free Tour Details
At the designated time, we'll begin this free tour of Providencia at the Plaza Felipe Dawes, next to the Manuel Montt metro station exit. Are you ready to explore one of the most bohemian neighborhoods in Santiago de Chile?
First, we'll pass by Bar Liguria, an iconic restaurant specialized in Chilean music. Then, we'll head to Pequeña Providencia, a picturesque neighborhood within the district declared a Zona de Conservación Histórica (Historical Conservation Area). You'll love its lively atmosphere of bars and restaurants!
Our next stop will be at the Iglesia de la Divina Providencia, a beautiful Neo-Renassaince style church that dates back to the end of the 19th century. After learning about its history, we'll head to the William Noon architectonic complex, declared a Zona Típica. We'll also stroll along Calle Keller, one of Providencia's hidden gems.
We'll then continue our walk in another Zona Típica of the district, the Población de la Caja del Seguro Obrero neighborhood, whose classic architecture will transport us to another time. Very close to this neighborhood, we'll find the Embassy of Italy in Santiago, one of the most notable buildings in Providencia.
After discovering other renowned places in the neighborhood, we'll conclude our free tree in the Mercado de Antigüedades, where you'll find almost anything you can imagine.
