Western Coast of Cantabria (9 hours)
The tour will start in Santillana del Mar, one of the most beautiful villages in Spain. We'll walk along its cobbled streets until we reach the Collegiate Church of Santa Juliana, a jewel of the Romanesque style in Cantabria. Our next stop will be in Comillas, where we'll admire important modernist works such as the Sobrellano Palace and Chapel, the Pontifical University and Gaudí's Capricho.
We'll stop in the fishing village of San Vicente de la Barquera for lunch, an ideal location to enjoy the Cantabrian cuisine. To finish our excursion, we'll visit the Altamira Museum and its neocave. Spot the cave paintings, a real journey back in time!
Santillana del Mar and Altamira Museum (4 hours 30 minutes)
We'll leave Santander to go to Santillana del Mar, a beautiful medieval village known as "the village of the three lies". We'll walk through its streets and discover the best example of Romanesque architecture in Cantabria: the Collegiate Church of Santa Juliana. After our walk, you'll have some free time to continue exploring the town at your leisure.
Our next stop will be at the Altamira Museum, where we'll visit the neo-cave, a scale replica of the famous Altamira Cave, known as the Sistine Chapel of Cave Art, not to be missed!
Picos de Europa Tour (11 hours)
From Santander, we'll head to Fuente Dé, a beautiful village in the heart of the Picos de Europa. Once there, we'll take the cable car that will take us up to a height of 1823 metres above sea level, to enjoy incredible views! We will also visit the Monastery of Santo Toribio de Liébana, which holds one of the fragments of the Vera Cruz, according to tradition.
Our next stop will be for lunch in Potes, a beautiful medieval village nestled in the valley. Then we'll head to the El Soplao Cave to visit its interior, a fascinating geological wonder!
Pasiegos Valleys Food Tour (10 hours)
Our first stop will be in Santoña, the main fishing port and heart of the canning industry in Cantabria. We'll visit Conservas Emilia to learn about the anchovy production process. The tour will continue to Noja, where we'll visit the Bodegas Vidular vineyard, and enjoy a wine tasting accompanied by an aperitif.
The journey will then take us through the green landscapes of the Pasiegos Valleys, where we'll have lunch. Finally, we'll arrive in Selaya to visit the facilities of the Sobaos Joselín factory, the largest bakery in the region, and sample their products.
