Private Day Trips from Santander

Excursion from Santander to Santillana del Mar, San Vicente de la Barquera and Comillas. Visit of the Neocaves of Altamira and the Capricho de Gaudí. Perhaps there are too many things for one day. Personally, I wanted to have had more time to visit Comillas. Perhaps he would leave San Vicente exclusively to eat.

Santillana del Mar and Altamira Museum (4 hours 30 minutes)

We'll leave Santander to go to Santillana del Mar, a beautiful medieval village known as "the village of the three lies". We'll walk through its streets and discover the best example of Romanesque architecture in Cantabria: the Collegiate Church of Santa Juliana. After our walk, you'll have some free time to continue exploring the town at your leisure

Our next stop will be at the Altamira Museum, where we'll visit the neo-cave, a scale replica of the famous Altamira Cave, known as the Sistine Chapel of Cave Art, not to be missed!

Picos de Europa Tour (11 hours)

From Santander, we'll head to Fuente Dé, a beautiful village in the heart of the Picos de Europa. Once there, we'll take the cable car that will take us up to a height of 1823 metres above sea level, to enjoy incredible views! We will also visit the Monastery of Santo Toribio de Liébana, which holds one of the fragments of the Vera Cruz, according to tradition.

Our next stop will be for lunch in Potes, a beautiful medieval village nestled in the valley. Then we'll head to the El Soplao Cave to visit its interior, a fascinating geological wonder!

Pasiegos Valleys Food Tour (10 hours)
