Santander Bay Boat Trip
At your chosen time, we'll meet on the promenade and walk to the quay to set off on a boat trip around Santander Bay.
During our boat trip, you'll look out at incredible views while the fascinating history behind different places is explained by a Spanish-speaking skipper. One of the first sights you'll see will be the building that dominates the bay: Magdalena Palace. This majestic and eclectic residence was built in the early 20th century as a gift for King Alfonso XIII.
Our tour will then continue to El Sardinero, one of Santander's most exclusive neighbourhoods, which is well-known for its long beaches. We'll then head to Cape Mayor and Santa Marina Island before gliding along the coastline of some of the other municipalities found in the bay. These municipalities include Loredo and Somo, whose beaches are very popular due to the miles-long stretches of sand framed by lush nature.
We'll continue sailing towards the docks of the ferry that connects the Cantabrian capital with several English port cities. Our tour will also pass by the Botín Centre, which was designed by the architect Renzo Piano and has become a symbol of Santander.
After 1 hour of sailing, we'll arrive back at the starting point.
