Surf Class in Palomino
Surf Class in Palomino
We'll pick you up at your hotel in Santa Marta, and from there, we'll head east towards one of the best spots to learn to surf in the Colombian Caribbean.
After a brief 1.5 hour drive, we'll arrive at the Palomino Beaches, for our exciting surfing course. Before we hit the waves, we'll practice on the sand to learn the basic movements, trying the most basic techniques to maintain balance on the board.
Next, it's time to put theory into practice! We'll take our newfound knowledge and put it to the test as we dive into the Colombian Caribbean waves. As you feel more at ease on the surfboard, you'll totally nail those Palomino waves–a truly exhilarating experience awaits!
After dipping your toes into the basics of surfing, we'll stop at a local joint for a traditional lunch. We'll enjoy a starter of seasonal salad, followed by your pick of beef, chicken, or fish fillet, served with a side of coconut rice and patacón. It's the perfect refuel for a surfing adventure!
Then, we'll finish up lunch and get ready to get back on the board as we continue our course. In this second half of the class, we'll try our hand at more complex moves on the board. This way, we'll finish the day as total masters of the waves!
Finally, we'll wrap up our session, and return to Santa Marta dropping you off at your hotel about 9 hours later.
