During this walk, of approximately 2 hours, we'll admire the numerous endemic fauna and flora species that inhabit this fertile ecosystem.
We'll see the beaches of Arrecife and Arenilla and Cabo San Juan del Guía, where you can enjoy a swim in one of the permitted zones. At the end of the afternoon, we'll go to your chosen accommodation, camping in front of the sea or a cabin at the entrance of Tayrona National Park.

If you want to enjoy more of the Colombian Caribbean sights, you can add an extra day to your itinerary.

From Tayrona, we'll travel towards Palomino, taking a pause to admire the peaks of Colón and Bolívar in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, and continue to Riohacha. Here we'll board a 4x4 to travel to Uribia, Colombia's indigenous capital. We'll meet the Wayuu people who live here, and visit the Manaure Salt Heaps, where we'll see its ponds where the salt is extracted.
Then we'll cross the Ahuyama Desert towards Cabo de Vela. We'll have lunch at its ranch and take a walk to Playa Arcoíris. Finally, we'll return to the ranch for dinner and spend the night here in hammocks or a Wayuu cabin.
On day 4, after breakfast at the ranch, we'll head out towards Pilón de Azúcar and climb to its peak, which is considered a sacred place.
