Minca Day Trip
Description
At the designated time, our team will pick you up from your hotel in Santa Marta, and we'll make our way to Minca, a charming village nestled at the base of the Sierra Nevada. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes.
Upon arrival, we'll treat ourselves to a cup of coffee, Colombia's prized product, and delve into the intricacies of the coffee-making process. Coffee, a globally beloved beverage, will undoubtedly capture your interest as we explore its origins and preparation.
Our next stop on the Minca excursion will lead us to the heart of the tropical forest. Here, you'll relish a refreshing swim in the Minca River and have the opportunity to plunge into the turquoise waters of a nearby waterfall. Following these invigorating experiences, we'll have a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.
Subsequently, we'll venture into the town of Minca, where you'll gain insight into the transformation of cocoa beans, tracing their journey from bean to bar. Prepare to be enchanted! We'll sample various cocoa beans and even learn the art of crafting your very own chocolate bar.
Finally, we'll take in the breathtaking panoramic views from a viewpoint before returning to Santa Marta. We'll arrive back at your hotel approximately 9 hours after your initial pickup.
