Day Trip to Stromboli & Panarea
Day Trip Details
We'll meet at the Santa Marina Salina tourist port at the designated time to begin a 1-hour journey towards our first destination of the day: Panarea.
Once we arrive at this island, we'll sail along the picturesque bay of Junco Cove, where you'll get to see the prehistoric village of Punta Milazzese and enjoy a dip in the area's crystal-clear waters.
Afterwards, we'll disembark at the port of Panarea, where you'll have 2.5 hours of free time to explore the island and grab some lunch. Not only do we recommend wandering amongst the white houses decorated with bougainvillea, but also visiting Punta Milazzese, which dates back to the Bronze Age, as well as the beaches at Zimmari Cove and Junco Cove.
Back onboard, we'll sail to the islets of Dattilo and Lisca Bianca, where we'll get to see the results of underwater eruptions. We'll then make our way to Stromboli. During the journey, we'll admire the imposing island of Basiluzzo, and depending on the sea and meteorological conditions, you'll have some time to take a dip.
After passing by Strombolicchio, we'll reach the Stromboli Port, where you'll have 3 hours of free time to visit the island at your own pace. You can't miss the views from the Chruch of San Vincenzo or a visit to the La Forgia Vecchia and Ficogrande beaches!
To finish off, we'll hop onto the boat once more and sail along the Sciara del Fuoco, where you can witness the impressive spectacle of the active volcano's eruptions from the sea.
Lastly, we'll return to the Santa Marina Salina port after a total of 10 hours.
