At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Santa Maria and head to the city centre to begin to get in touch with its history and most iconic monuments.
The first part of the tour will be devoted to an extensive visit to Santa Maria and its main churches. We'll go past the Basilica Shrine of Our Lady Mediatrix of All Gracess and see the eclectic façade of the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Conception, which perfectly combines neoclassical and neo-baroque styles.
We'll also delve into a discussion about how the Spanish and Portuguese settlers founded Santa Maria, see the Villa Belga and also the city's university, which is one of the largest in Brazil.
After all of that, it's time to relax! We'll then return to the minibus and head east towards the nearby town of Restinga Sêca. We'll take you to its Roman thermal baths and leave you 4.5 hours of free time so that you can make use of its swimming pools and jacuzzis. In addition, between dips, you can enjoy a delicious lunch, which is included in the spa's restaurant.
With your energy renewed and any tensions eased, we'll continue our tour to a local winery, where you'll be able to enjoy some of the most delicious local wines.
After 10 hours of activity, we'll drop you back at your hotel in Santa Maria.
