Description
At the indicated time we'll meet at the Arví Metrocable Station, where we'll take advantage of the opportunity to get our strength back with a cup of tea.
We'll start the tour walking to the Carabineros Fort, where we'll delve into its historical significance, shedding light on its role before embarking on the trek to Sugarloaf Hill.
During the walk, we'll make stops at the most outstanding points of this hill, such as the Llave de Piedra (the stone key), a monument where we'll learn about the history of the conquest of the Arví Valley by the Spaniards. The hues of the setting sun will provide a stunning backdrop to our hike.
From this point onwards, the trail will become rockier and more challenging. We'll visit two viewpoints to take great pictures of Santa Elena at night, and we'll reach the Alto de Mora. Do you know how this place is related to the development of the brewing industry in Medellín? We'll find out!
