At the scheduled time, we'll meet at Plaza de Europa to begin this free tour of the Santa Cruz in Tenerife. Ready? Let's go!
Firstly, we'll make our way towards the Nuestra Señora de África Market, a space full of colour and aromas where you'll discover Canarian gastronomy. We'll make our way towards the Guimerá Theatre, an architectural jewel that has borne witness to a number of cultural events through the years.
Afterwards, we'll walk towards Plaza España, the heart of the city. We'll travel back in time to the 16th century to discover how Tenerife was defended during the numerous pirate plunderings and other invaders. You'll be stunned!
From there, we'll enter the picturesque streets of Santa Cruz to discover the imposing façade of the Fine Arts Museum - a cultural treasure. Our next stop will be at the mysterious Masonic Temple of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, a place full of symbolism and history that will transport us back to years past.
After 2 hours together, we'll bring this tour to an end at the picturesque García Sanabria Park, a green oasis in the city centre.
