The Canary Islands are famous for their delicious wines. Enjoy this North Tenerife Wine Tour and travel through the Tacoronte-Acentejo region to discover this gastronomic wealth.
North Tenerife Wine Tour
We'll start the wine tour by picking you up at your selected meeting point and head towards La Laguna, a city declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We'll walk through its historical centre contemplating the colourful facades of its houses and the Cathedral of Nuestra Señora de Los Remedios.
Afterwards, we'll head towards the Tacoronte-Acentejo wine region. The tour will take us past the vineyards that extend through the north of Tenerife and arrive at the Casa del Vino. While we tour its museum and enjoy a tasting accompanied by typical aperitifs, we'll discover the origins of wine in the Canary Islands, dating back to the 15th century!
The next two hours will be dedicated to visiting the Bodegas Monje. Oak barrels and unique processes make the perfect combination of avant-garde and tradition in this house.
In the cellars, we'll enjoy a Canarian lunch that includes chorizo palmero, watercress butter, almogrote, cream of vegetables with gofio, roast pork with traditional potatoes, with quesillo and coffee for dessert. All accompanied by a glass of white wine, a glass of rosé wine and a red wine.
After lunch, we'll return to your the starting point between 6 and 6:30 pm approximately.
