Santa Cruz de la Sierra Tour
Santa Cruz de la Sierra Tour
At 9 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Santa Cruz de la Sierra and board a comfortable minibus. Once we're all on the minibus, we'll set off for the historic centre of this Bolivian city.
When we arrive, we'll get off the minibus and start our walking tour. We'll explore the most symbolic monuments in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, such as the 24 September Square, the Cathedral and the House of Melchor Pinto. Your guide will share lots of interesting facts about the places we visit as well as the key historical events that have taken place in this city.
We'll continue walking until we reach the Art Gallery, the Altillo Museum and the History Museum, which will help us to gain a deeper insight into the history of Santa Cruz. Before getting back on the minibus, we'll walk along the Artesanal Promenade, "La Recova", which is the perfect place to find a souvenir to bring back home.
Afterwards, we'll get back on the bus and drive to Artecampo. Here, we'll find arts and crafts made by indigenous groups and people from rural areas in eastern Bolivia. You'll have 30 minutes to wander around this handicraft centre, after which we'll go on a sightseeing tour of the residential neighbourhoods in Santa Cruz de la Sierra.
It'll then be time to bring our tour to a close and take you back to your hotel, where we'll arrive at 12 noon.
