On this excursion to the Lomas de Arena Regional Park, a protected area of Bolivia, you'll discover a spectacular landscape formed by lagoons and sand dunes!
Lomas de Arena Regional Park Tour
We'll pick you up at your hotel at 8 am to head towards one of the most outstanding ecological environments in Bolivia. Located 7.5 miles (12 km) southeast of Santa Cruz, the Lomas de Arena Regional Park is a protected area formed by beautiful lagoons and sandbanks.
Upon arrival, we'll take a tour of the different landscapes offered by the park, from towering sand dunes to small forests inhabited by monkeys, sloths, and various species of endemic birds!
After the tour, we'll have a picnic lunch, and then we'll leave you free time to explore or swim in one of the lagoons. You can also do other activities, such as sandboarding or quad biking on the sand dunes that reach up to 39 ft (12 meters) – ideal for adrenaline lovers!
Finally, we'll return by bus to Santa Cruz de la Sierra and drop you off at your hotel around 12 noon.
