Contrasts of Santa Cruz de la Sierra Tour
Contrasts of Santa Cruz de la Sierra Tour
At 10 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Santa Cruz de la Sierra to start a tour through the most representative neighborhoods of this Bolivian city, getting to know the essence of each one of them.
First, we'll go to the Artecampo Regional Handicraft Center, where we'll get to see the most authentic samples of Bolivian handicrafts.
Then we'll make our way to the green lung of Santa Cruz, La Rinconada. We'll stroll among its lagoons and waterfalls and visit the tropical fish aquarium. Fun fact: this park is home to the largest aquatic lily in the world! While we're here, we'll take advantage to have a typical lunch consisting of a starter and a main course.
After lunch we head to the old town, where we'll admire its beautiful colonial buildings with architectural elements like tiles and wooden pillars. We'll also stroll through Plaza 24 de Septiembre, which marks the geographical center of the city.
Our next stop will be the neighborhood of Equipetrol, where we can see the contrast between the old and the modern that characterizes Santa Cruz. The city's tallest skyscrapers are concentrated here, representing its economic growth.
Having seen the different contrasts that make Santa Cruz de la Sierra unique, we will take you back to your hotel at 5 pm.
