Tour to the Gulf of Fonseca
At 5:15 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in San Salvador. We'll board a comfortable bus for a 3.5-hour ride to the port of La Union. Once there, we'll get off the bus to board a boat to explore the Gulf of Fonseca!
We'll pass in front of the famous Calvo tuna farm, Punta Chiquirin, Conchaguita Island, and many other places of interest. The first stop will be at Meanguera Island, where we'll disembark for about half an hour to take a stroll and get to know the lifestyle of the locals.
Afterwards, we'll resume sailing towards Zacatillo Island, where we'll stop for 2.5 hours so that you can enjoy this place at your leisure. This is also the perfect opportunity to have lunch in one of the local restaurants and taste the country's gastronomy on your own.
At the agreed time, we'll meet again and head for the municipal dock of La Union. On the way, we'll be able to see the islands of Conejo and Chupito – the views are fantastic!
Once there, we'll get back on the bus and take you back to your hotel in San Salvador, where we'll arrive at approximately 8 pm.
