San Salvador Complete Tour
Description
After picking you up from your chosen pickup point, we will begin our tour of San Salvador, the capital and largest city in El Salvador. We will visit the enchanting Plaza Salvador del Mundo city square, where you will discover the Monument to the Divine Savior of the World. This statue of Jesus Christ standing on top of planet Earth is the iconic symbol of the city!
After exploring the Plaza Masferrer Square, we will head into the historic center of San Salvador to visit the magnificent Metropolitan Cathedral, decorated with oil paintings depicting the life of Jesus Christ. You will also encounter the emblematic National Palace, where we will find statues of notable people from Hispanic history.
We will also stop at the National Theater to admire its fabulous Renaissance-style architecture. Then, crossing through the idyllic city squares, we will arrive at the church of El Rosario, where you will witness how the sunlight beautifully seeps through the elegant stained glass windows.
At the end of this fun-packed morning, you can treat yourself by doing some souvenir shopping. We will stroll through the city's handicrafts market and the bustling market of Antiguo Cuscatlán where you can find all kinds of local products.
In the afternoon, we'll go to the Picnic Steak House, where you can enjoy the Rainbow Slide. Launching down this colorful slide, you'll have a great time while admiring the views of San Salvador in the background.
Our last destination before returning to San Salvador will be Santa Tecla, a small town where we can stroll along the vibrant Paseo El Carmen boulevard, full of bars and traditional restaurants.
