Copán 2 Day Tour
Itinerary
Day 1: San Salvador - San Andrés - Copán
After picking you up from your hotel in San Salvador at 8:30 am, we'll head to the nearby San Andrés Archaeological Park, where we'll enjoy a guided tour to learn about its acropolis and pyramids. Did you know that for years these ruins were covered beneath volcanic ash?
Then, we'll get back on the road and cross the border with Guatemala to arrive in Honduras, where our next destination awaits. 4 hours later we'll arrive in Copán. You'll have the afternoon free to eat, explore the town or rest in the hotel.
Day 2: Copán - San Salvador
At 9 am, we'll take you to the Copán Archaeological Park. Once here, you'll have approximately 3 hours to visit these Maya ruins, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Pyramids, temples, altars, sports fields and more await you!
At 1 pm, we'll meet back up and board the bus to return to El Salvador. We'll end this tour, dropping you back off at your hotel in San Salvador at 6 pm.
3-Day Tour
If you'd prefer, you can add an extra night. With this, during the third day we'll follow the same itinerary as the second day as described above.
