Iruya Trip
Iruya Trip
After picking you up from your hotel in Jujuy at this selected time, we'll head towards the beautiful high valleys of northern Argentina. Get your camera ready to capture a lasting memory of these beautiful natural landscapes!
First, we pass through a transitional environment between the desert and the jungle. Here, at more than 12,000 feet above sea level, we'll learn how the ancient inhabitants of this area were self-sufficient, using products grown on terraces. These plots were located on the slopes of the mountains, with the aim of making the most of the rainwater.
We'll reach the picturesque village of Iruya, which seems to hang between hills, rivers, clouds and ravines, and from its famous Mirador del Condor viewpoint we'll enjoy excellent views of the valleys! Afterwards, we'll walk through its steep stone streets to discover all its charms.
Strolling through the historic centre we'll see its parish church, located in a privileged spot. You'll then have an hour free to have lunch and stroll around at your leisure.
After lunch, we'll return to your hotel in Jujuy, arriving 10 hours after the start of the activity.
