Rainforest Farm Organic Coffee Tour
Rainforest Farm Organic Coffee Tour
We'll pick you up at your hotel in San Ramon at 8 am to head to the north of the province of Junin.
Our destination will be the Rainforest farm, famous for its organic coffee production, and did you know that Misha coffee, the most expensive coffee in the world, is also produced here? A kilo of the stuff can cost over 1000 dollars!
As soon as you arrive at the farm, you'll be welcomed with a cup of aromatic coffee or a tasty ice cream. After the welcome, we'll take a tour of the area where the compost used for the crops is produced, learning about the benefits of this organic material.
Afterwards, we'll visit the Misha Conservation Centre, where we'll learn about the work of the keepers of these small mammals that make the most expensive coffee in the world. Do you want to know how? We'll find out!
Afterwards, we'll leave you free time for lunch and continue visiting the coffee, pineapple and medicinal plant crops of the farm, learning how they are treated so that the final product is completely organic and healthy.
Finally, we'll return to San Ramon and drop you off at your hotel around 6 pm.
