Perene Valley + Chanchamayo Waterfalls Tour
Perene Valley + Chanchamayo Waterfalls Tour
We'll pick you up at 9:30 am at your hotel in San Ramón and head north to the Perené district, one of the six that make up the province of Chanchamayo.
To begin our excursion, we'll go over the Kimiri suspension bridge in the direction of the Bayoz waterfall, one of the natural wonders of this region of Peru.
You'll enjoy some free time at this waterfall for a refreshing swim and then we'll move on to the Velo de la Novia waterfall. Did you know that its waterfall is 65 metres (213 feet high?
Afterwards, we'll take a boat for a ride on the Perené River and visit an Ashaninca community, whose inhabitants will show us their customs and traditions, coming from a centenary culture. We'll also enjoy a demonstration of their music and dances, all surrounded by Peruvian nature.
Finally, we'll visit a hacienda where local products such as coffee, cocoa or citrus fruits are grown and we'll taste them!
We'll conclude the excursion by taking you back to San Ramon and dropping you off at your hotel at 5:30 pm.
