At 7 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in San Pedro Sula to begin a private excursion to Copán Ruinas. Ready for an adventure?
After a 3-hour drive, we'll arrive at the renowned Copán Ruinas Archaeological Park. Inside, we'll learn about the region's history and explore the remnants of an ancient capital of an important Mayan kingdom between the 5th and 9th centuries. The park is filled with fascinating vestiges of this remarkable civilization!
Our next stop takes us to Guacamaya Mountain, where we'll visit the Bird Park. Prepare to be amazed by the vibrant red macaws of Honduras with their striking feathers. You'll also learn about the park's efforts in breeding and rehabilitating the species, aiding in their recovery from injuries. It's a unique opportunity to witness these beautiful birds up close!
After the bird park visit, we'll take you to the town of Copán Ruinas. Here, you'll have ample free time to wander the streets at your own pace or enjoy a delightful lunch on your own. Take in the atmosphere and soak up the local charm before we begin our journey back.
Finally, we'll return you to your hotel in San Pedro Sula, arriving around 7 pm.
Drop-off point
During the booking process, you'll have the option to end the tour in El Florido, right on the border with Guatemala. If you choose this option, the tour will end at 4 pm.
