Discover the amazing landscapes of Tafí del Valle and visit the fascinating Quilmes archaeological site, as well as a trip to an authentic winery.

Tafi del Valle and Quilmes Ruins Tour

After picking you up from your hotel, we'll start our tour to the Tafí del Valle and the Quilmes Ruins. We'll also visit a family winery and try exquisite Argentinian wine.

Our journey continues, following the Quebrada de Los Sosa river, until we reach El Mollar. This set of more than 50 magnificent megalithic sculptures is still an enigma and you'll hear some of the fascinating theories about their origin and meaning.

Afterwards, we'll travel to Tafí del Valle, a small town where you'll have some free time to explore. We recommend admiring the natural environment that surrounds this beautiful area. There are huge mountains that create the perfect backdrop for photographs.

Then, we'll continue our room to El Infiernillo, our entry point to the Calchaquí Valley. You'll be amazed by this spectacular natural site.

From here, we'll head to the Sacred City of Quilmes, where we'll meet the Quilmes indigenous community. In this beautiful area, we'll visit one of the most extensive pre-Columbian settlements in Argentina: the Quilmes Ruins. During our visit to the ancient site, you'll learn all about who the Quilmes Indians were, their main customs and traditions, and the legacy they left us.

We'll leave the Quilmes ruins behind and head to Amaicha del Valle, where there will be time to eat.

Want more? After eating, we'll meet the Amaicha del Valley community to visit an indigenous winery. We'll meet Veronica, a family member, who will explain the process and bottling of wine. She'll tell us the secrets of the artisanal production of this drink. You'll also have the chance to try a glass!

After 11.5 hours of activity, we'll get the bus back to your hotel and say our goodbyes.
