Description
At the scheduled time, we'll collect you from your hotel in San Miguel de Tucumán and, from there, we'll make our way southwards.
We'll begin this tour by making our way through the stunning landscapes of the Yunga jungles and the Los Sosa Gorge. Next, we'll take a small break in the town of El Mollar to visit Los Menhires Archaeological Reserve, where we'll discover the meaning of its iconic stone stelae.
After this stop, we'll continue the tour until we reach Tafí del Valle, one of the most beautiful destinations in the province of Tucumán. Once we've arrived in the town, we'll head towards the house where we'll take part in the ceramics workshop. This will be a really unique experience where we'll learn how to make some characteristic pieces from the native cultures of the Calchaquí Valleys.
Once we've finished the ceramics workshop, you'll be able to go and enjoy some lunch by yourself in the centre of Tafí del Valle. After eating, we'll meet up again to make our way to another house where we'll take part in a fabrics workshop. During this different experience, we'll learn how the process of dyeing, spinning, and weaving of different wools is used in the manufacturing of different garments.
Finally, we'll begin our return journey, making a short stop at the Tambo La Sofía Cheese Factory, where we'll see how its products are made and enjoy some amazing views of Tafí del Valle from their viewpoint.
After taking in some stunning views, we'll return to the hotels in San Miguel de Tucumán, where we're expected to arrive after around 9 hours together.
