Coyote Canyon Hiking Tour

We'll meet in the centre of San Miguel de Allende and head towards the Cañada de la Virgen. Here we'll start a guided hiking tour through the Coyote Canyon, located west of San Miguel de Allende.

During our route, which lasts about two hours, we'll get to know the ranches, meadows, canyons and rivers of the surrounding area thanks to our guide, who is specialised in the history of the area. Along the route, you'll contemplate the landscape of the canyon, where there is an archaeological site of great importance for the region.

To regain your strength, at the end of the route you'll enjoy a typical ranchera meal, which includes fresh cheese, beans, quesadillas, nopales or guacamole and salads, among other typical dishes of San Miguel de Allende.

With this good taste in our mouths, we'll return to the city to finish the excursion.

Hiking Route + Abseiling

If in addition to the hiking route through the Cañada de la Virgen you want to complete the excursion, we give you the possibility to practice abseiling in the canyon. This extreme descent technique is perfect to test yourself in a unique place. With the help of an expert guide, you'll slide down the canyon from a height of 50 metres (164 feet).
