La Punta, Suyuque & Villa de la Quebrada Day Trip
La Punta, Suyuque & Villa de la Quebrada Day Trip
At the time of your choice, we'll pick you up from your hotel in San Luis and take you to La Punta: the most modern city in Argentina founded in 2003 that houses incredible avant-garde buildings.
We'll go on a guided tour of La Punta to see its most emblematic monuments, such as the Juan Gilberto Funes provincial stadium, the San Luis cinema and the Astronomical Park. In the north of the city we'll visit the replicas of the Cabildo building in the Plaza de Mayo square in Buenos Aires and the Historical House of Tucumán.
Next, we'll set off for the nearby town of Suyuque, where we'll begin by visiting its famous Benedictine monastery. We'll tell you all about the history of the monastery while we enjoy beautiful views from its lookout. You can even try some delicious homemade desserts made by the nuns!
Afterwards we'll head to Villa de la Quebrada, a picturesque town in the province of San Luis where we'll visit the parish of Santo Cristo de la Quebrada. We'll then walk along its famous Via Crucis, a 1400-metre long path that reaches 320 metres in height and marvel at the magnificent marble sculptures that represent the stations of the cross.
At the end of the trip, we'll return to your hotel in San Luis.
