Ride the wave of adrenaline as you rappel down the famous Tamul waterfall & enjoy the unforgettable surrounding landscape. A unique way to visit the largest waterfall in San Luis Potosí!
Rappelling at the Tamul Waterfall
After picking you up at your hotel in San Luis Potosí at 6:45 am, we'll travel by minibus to the small town of Tanchachín, about four hours away.
Once we have arrived at our destination, we'll go on a hiking route to the area where the rappelling activity will take place. To get there, we'll cross the jungle of the Huasteca Potosina region and admire the lush vegetation as we border the banks of the Gallinas River.
When we least expect it, we'll come across the emblematic Tamul waterfall, which is the largest waterfall in the state of San Luis Potosí, standing 105 meters (344 feet) tall.
We'll get set up with the safety equipment, learn some basic rules, and then it'll be time to start rappelling down the waterfall! We'll descend from one of the sides of this natural monument, a position that'll allow us to admire the surrounding landscape from a privileged point of view.
Will we be splashed by the waters of the cascade? Of course! But it'll be a lot of fun, and you're sure to find it refreshing. The experience will last approximately two hours, after which we'll walk back to Tanchachín, where you'll have an hour of free time to grab a bite to eat at a local restaurant.
With renewed energy, we'll return to the minibus. The activity will finish at 8 pm, leaving you back at your hotel in San Luis Potosí.
