Rafting Down the Claro River
Description
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Medellín and head over to San Luis, where we'll launch into our aquatic adventure.
As we arrive at Central Park in the Antioquian District, we'll change gears and get into an off–roading vehicle. This way, we can reach our launch point along the Claro River.
Following a brief safety instruction, we'll ensure our helmets, life jackets, and all other essential gear are correctly fitted. Once fully prepared, we'll embark on an exciting journey down the Claro River, navigating its exhilarating white waters on our rafts.
On our way down, we'll spend about 4 hours traversing the river, covering a route 7 kilometers (4.3 miles) long. As we navigate the exhilarating currents of the Claro River, encountering Class I rapids, we'll be treated to expansive landscapes of the Anioquian jungle along the way.
As we approach the banks of the Claro River, we'll pause to enjoy a picnic lunch among the natural surroundings, featuring a selection of cold meats and fresh fruits. After replenishing our energy, we'll return to our meeting point in San Luis via an off-road vehicle.
From here, our last transfer point, we'll change vehicles and bring you back to your hotel in Medellín after about 10 hours of activity.

You can meet us at the meeting point in San Luis and head to San Luis Central Park.
Schedules
- Tour with transport from Medellín: we'll pick you up from your hotel in Medellín at 8 am
- Tour from San Luis: please arrive at the meeting point in San Luis at 12 pm
