El Yunque Forest + Bioluminescent Bays Tour
Description
We'll pick you up from your chosen meeting point and then we'll head north passing through 4 villages before stopping in Luquillo, to discover the most typical fruits.
The tour will then arrive at the El Yunque Forest, did you know that it's called the "natural wonder of Puerto Rico"? We'll walk along its trails to see hundreds of animals and exotic plants, before reaching the waterfalls to swim in its natural pools, and even jump off the rocks! You'll also enjoy some fresh fruit.
Afterwards, we'll take you to a local restaurant and you'll have 30 minutes to eat on your own. We'll meet again to go to our next destination, the bioluminescent bays.
Once in Fajardo Bay, we'll get into a kayak as the sun goes down. Are you ready to witness a unique natural spectacle? We'll paddle towards the Red Mangrove Forest to see how the dinoflagellates, small organisms, make the water shine.
You'll then have the chance to admire the sunset at Laguna Grande and watch the sparkles coming out of the water, the fish will glow in the dark!
Then we'll return to San Juan, arriving back at the meeting point at 9:30 pm.
