Jachal, Rodeo and Pismanta Trip
After picking you up from your hotel in San Juan at 8 am, we will head to the northern area of the province, where you will be amazed by the landscapes!
The first stop is in the city of San José de Jáchal, where we will see its large adobe houses, narrow alleys, and elegant 18th-century colonial buildings. We will also visit the Archdiocesan Sanctuary declared a National Historical Monument, we will see the famous Cristo Negro (Black Christ), made with local leather.
We will follow the route by the National Route 150, which will take us into the pretty central foothills. It is an environment of great biodiversity, where we will contemplate diverse specimens of native fauna such as llamas. The itinerary will continue next to the famous Cuesta del Viento dam.
Next, we will stop at the village of Rodeo: the main settlement in the Iglesia region. You will have one hour free for lunch(not included) in this picturesque town in the province of San Juan. Here, you will learn all about how the town earned its name. After lunch, we will stop in front of the Pismanta hot springs, where we will explain its main invigorating properties.
On the way back to San Juan, we will pass through the pretty towns of Las Flores and Bella Vista. Along the way, we will also reach the highest point on the route: Mount Colorado.
Finally, we will return to your hotel in the city of San Juan, where we arrive at around 6 pm.
