San José Sloth & Birdwatching
San José Sloth & Birdwatching
At the time of your choice, we'll meet on Calle La Cruz to start a tour that will allow us to enjoy the flora and fauna of Costa Rica. During the activity, we'll visit two urban parks to see the birds and sloths that live there.
We'll spend an hour touring the first of the forests, where we'll observe the dozens of birds that inhabit this place. We'll also use a spotting scope to get a closer look at the more hidden animals.
We'll tell you all kinds of curiosities about the different birds and talk about the insects and tropical flowers that populate San José. You'll learn all kinds of things!
Then, we'll make our way to the second park, belonging to the University of Costa Rica. Do you know who lives in the exotic treetops of this center? As we walk through the campus grounds, we'll spot several sloths while we tell you about their slow metabolism and other interesting facts.
After two and a half hours of exploring, we'll say goodbye at the starting point.
