La Paz Waterfall, Celeste River & Hot Springs Tour
Description
Between 8 and 9 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel and hit the road for the La Paz waterfall through the Sarapiqui Mountains.
You won't believe your eyes when we arrive at this majestic waterfall, standing over 120 feet high and engulfed in dense vegetation. Time to take out the camera! We'll probably spot tropical birds, endemic frogs and butterflies.
Afterward, we'll continue on our excursion towards the pools of the Celeste River, located next to the village of Bajos del Toro. Here, we'll cross a suspension bridge and enjoy beautiful turquoise lagoons. As an added bonus, you can even jump into the water and take a refreshing dip!
Next, we'll head over to some hot springs heated by the Poás Volcano, where we'll enjoy a delicious lunch of rice, beans, meat, and a drink. After lunch, you can take another swim and relax before we begin our return to San José.
To conclude the excursion, we'll take you back to your hotel, arriving between 5 and 6 pm.
