Arenal Volcano & Hot Springs Tour
Arenal Volcano & Hot Springs Tour
After picking you up from your hotel in San José, we'll set off on our trip to the Arenal Volcano. We'll make a stop on the way to visit the city of Sarchí, the birthplace of Costa Rican handicrafts.
After this stop, we'll drive past the main pineapple, mango and flower plantations until arriving at the entrance of the Arenal Volcano National Park located in the city of La Fortuna.
In La Fortuna, we'll enjoy a meal in a traditional restaurant in the area. Our lunch menu includes rice, beans, salad, meat, mince, plantain and juice.
While we eat, we'll admire incredible views of the volcano, which began activity on 29th July 1968 and currently still produces gases and water vapour, making it the most active volcano in Costa Rica.
After learning about one of the most famous volcanoes in the world, we'll enjoy a relaxing bath in the Baldi hot springs. Did you know that these pools were created by the Arenal? In addition, they're surrounded by tropical gardens that'll make you feel like you're relaxing in paradise.
Our trip will end with a buffet dinner consisting of rice, beans, two types of meat, salad, dessert and juice.
After dinner, we'll take you back to the hotels in San José.
