Sail along coasts once frequented by pirates on this boat trip around Cabo de Gata, a place whose volcanic terrain and rugged landscapes will leave you speechless!
Cabo de Gata Boat Tour
At your selected time, we'll meet at the port of San José, where a 26-foot boat with seats and a sundeck awaits for us to sail comfortably along the coast of the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park.
We'll depart from the beach of San José and head north or south, depending on the weather conditions. If we head north, we'll sail along the coast of Cabo de Gata passing by the Cueva del Tabaco and the famous coves of Higuera, El Tomate and Las Hermanicas. We'll reach Punta Escullos and make a stop for a swim in the Valle de los Escullos before returning to San José.
If the winds take us to the south, the boat will sail along the emblematic beach of Los Genoveses, one of the best-known spots on the coast of Almeria, and pass by the Grande, Chica and Principe coves. Of course, we'll see the beaches of Mónsul and Media Luna from the boat, and on the way back we'll stop for a swim at Los Genoveses beach before returning to the port.
Whichever route we end up taking, we'll have beautiful views of the steep cliffs and volcanic terrain of Cabo de Gata from the boat, enjoying the incredible scenery that has even served as a backdrop for several films.
During the tour, we'll also tell you some curiosities about the ecosystems that coexist in the park, as well as about the history of the region. Did you know that it was frequented by fearsome pirates?
After 2 hours of sailing, we'll finish the activity by returning to the starting point.
