Los Genoveses & Mónsul Beaches 4x4 Tour

We'll meet up at the Rambla de los Frailes at the scheduled time and start our 4x4 tour to some of the best unspoilt beaches in Almeria.

Our first stop will be the Rodalquilar ancient gold mines. Here, we'll hop off the 4x4 vehicle from the 80s and talk about the important role that gold played in the local economy. The mine here was operational until the middle of the 20th century!

Afterwards, we'll head to the most spectacular wild beaches in the area. The first beach will be Los Genoveses. Did you know that one of the most exciting scenes in the film El Niño was shot here? The vehicle we'll be travelling in will also have TV screens we can watch to see some of these scenes.

We'll stop at Mónsul Beach and get out of the vehicle to take pictures and admire the spectacular views. This wild coastline was chosen by Steven Spielberg to shoot a scene in the film Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

Also, if you come in the summer, you'll have some free time on the beach to take a well-deserved dip.

We'll then head inland to discover its fabulous architecture and landscapes. In this area, a tragic event took place that inspired Federico García Lorca to write his work Bodas de Sangre.

Finally, we'll return to the starting point where our adventure will finish 2 hours 45 minutes after it began.
