San Gil Adventure Tour
Options
When booking, you can choose between the following adventure circuits in San Gil. Both options include hotel pick-up, transport, an English speaking instructor and the equipment necessary for the activity. Below, you'll find the details of each option:
Circuit with 13 activities (5 hours)
We'll start the day by heading towards the Páramo de la Salud-Santander, just 15 minutes away. Let the adventure begin! After handing out the necessary protective equipment, we'll give you a technical talk about the activities we're going to enjoy.
The adventure begins with a 37-metre (121-foot) zipline that will take us to the entrance of the Cueva del Indio, a true natural wonder. Once inside this cave, we'll do a 1.5-kilometre (4.9-mile) route of caving, hiking and overcoming obstacles. As well as that, we'll go army crawling and jump into the void from a platform of 6 metres (19 feet). Impressive!
After swimming out of the cave, we'll take a hike to another area of the park. There, we'll face several ziplines, a military-style rope climbing challenge and different suspension bridges. Finally, a thrilling 25-metre (82-foot) abseil down from the trees awaits us. Do you dare?
We'll finish the circuit with another walk of approximately 20 minutes until we reach the point where the vehicle will be waiting for us. From there, we'll take you back to San Gil.
In total, this circuit includes the following 13 activities:
- 37-metre zipline
- Caving
- Army crawling
- Leap into the void
- Hiking
- Water hiking
- Nature walk
- Rope climbing
- Medium difficulty ziplines
- Maderos Bridge

Circuit with 14 activities + Lunch (10 hours)
This exciting circuit includes all the activities listed above, but, in addition, after the abseiling, we'll enjoy a rafting activity. We'll embark on an 11-kilometre (36-foot) descent of the Fonce River, with category I, II and III rapids. Are you ready to go? Here, coordination is fundamental to overcoming the obstacles of the white waters.
At the end of the river tour in San Gil, near the emblematic Parque Gallineral, we'll take a break at a restaurant. There you'll enjoy a delicious lunch to refuel.
Finally, we'll take you back to your hotel in San Gil.
