North Beach Free Tour
Description
We'll begin by walking through San Francisco's Little Italy, which is packed with Italian cafes, restaurants and shops. We'll wander around this colourful neighbourhood as we admire its architecture and visit an enchanting hidden garden.
While we talk about Italian immigration in San Francisco, we'll visit Lombard Street, one of the most iconic spots in the area. Its steep, winding curves are a real tourist attraction, and you won't stop taking pictures of the incredible panoramic views! We'll be able to see both the famous Transamerica Pyramid, a symbol of the San Franciscan skyline, as well as the legendary Golden Gate Bridge from this iconic viewpoint.
Before we say goodbye, we'll take you to Ghirardelli Square, where we'll show you some of the best chocolate and ice cream shops in the city! Will you be able to resist?
After about two and a half hours of sightseeing, we'll end the tour at the Powell & Hyde Cable Car Turnabout, one of the city's tram changeover points.
