San Francisco Golden Gate Bay Cruise
Tour Options
During the booking process, you'll be given the choice between the following two tour options. Both begin at Fisherman's Wharf and include an audioguide in English. Check out the details of each option below:
San Francisco Bay Cruise
Starting from Fisherman's Wharf, we’ll sail west, passing landmarks like North Beach, Hyde Street Pier, and the San Francisco Maritime National Park. As we head toward the Golden Gate, you'll see Fort Mason and the Marina District, which was heavily impacted by the 1989 earthquake. This area offers stunning views of Crissy Field and the Presidio Hills, both former military sites.
The highlight of the tour comes as we approach the base of the Golden Gate Bridge. Standing 227 meters high and stretching 2,700 meters long, the bridge is even more awe-inspiring when viewed from the water.
On our return to the bay, we'll cruise past the Marin Headlands Wildlife Reserve and Sausalito, one of the area's most iconic towns. We’ll continue by Angel Island State Park on the left and circle the famous Alcatraz Island. As we make our way back to Fisherman's Wharf, you’ll have a fantastic view of the city's skyline.
We’ll conclude the tour back at the starting pier. If you haven't yet spotted the sea lions at Fisherman's Wharf, now’s your chance!
Bridge-to-Bridge Cruise
In this option, we’ll follow the same route as described above, but when we reach the Golden Gate Bridge, we'll sail underneath it and continue toward the Bay Bridge. Be sure to have your camera ready!
On the return journey, we’ll take our time exploring the Marin Headlands, Sausalito, Treasure Island, and Alcatraz. Before you know it, we’ll spot the next bridge on the horizon. We’ll then sail under the impressive Bay Bridge, which connects San Francisco to Oakland—a perfect view to wrap up the cruise.
