Uxmal Tour

At 8 am, we'll pick you up at the Ocean View Hotel. From there, we'll head to Puuc, an area of the Yucatan Peninsula noted for its large pre-Columbian archaeological sites.

After a 2-hour drive, we'll stop at the ancient Mayan city of Uxmal. Upon arrival at the archaeological site, declared a World Heritage Site, we'll begin our tour of the monumental complex with its temples and step pyramids.

We'll begin our guided tour of Uxmal at the Pyramid of the Magician. Inside this 5-level step pyramid, we'll learn about an ancient legend that's sure to surprise you!

The tour will then continue with the Quadrangle of the Nuns, a unique rectangular building where we'll also discover amazing secrets. Next, we'll stop at the remains of the Governor's Palace and the Ball Game field. Did you know that this was the most popular sport in pre-Columbian times?
