Options

At the time of booking, you can choose between three different options that will take you to the San Diego neighborhood of your choice. Below are the particularities of each option:

Gaslamp Quarter Tour

In this option, we'll enter the historic Gaslamp Quarter, an area famous for its stores and restaurants set in the Victorian architecture so characteristic of the area. Although it was once a "red light district", the Gaslamp Quarter has a cuisine and culture that is perfect for getting to know the essence of San Diego.

During the food tour of the Gaslamp Quarter, you'll travel back in time to learn about the influence of immigration into the city through the port. To do so, we'll visit four different restaurants where we'll taste four typical dishes accompanied by a different drink in each place.

Old Town Tour

We'll tour San Diego's historic center, known as Old Town, to learn all about the colonial influence on the Californian city, from the first Spanish settlements, through the Mexican influence to the Gold Rush era. To do so, we'll visit four different locales where we'll sample tacos and margaritas or tequilas - bottoms up!

Little Italy Tour

Want to travel to Italy without even leaving San Diego? Discover the Italian influence on Californian gastronomy in this option. The Little Italy food tour will take us through the largest Italian neighborhood in the United States, where we'll learn all about pasta and pizza and how it has adapted to local tastes.

We'll stop at four different restaurants to taste some of the most representative dishes of the area, accompanied by wine, sangria, or craft beers. Bon appetit!

Meeting point

Depending on the option you select, the tour will start from one of the following points:
