Española, Floreana, Santa Fe & Santa Cruz: 5-day Luxury Cruise

Day 1: Isla de San Cristóbal - Cerro Colorado

We'll be waiting for you at the San Cristobal airport to help you with your luggage and take you to the port, where you'll board the Treasure luxury cruise ship.

We'll begin our activities in the afternoon when a bus will pick us up to visit the Cerro Colorado turtle protection center. Here we'll be able to see how these distinctive reptiles of the Galapagos Islands are cared for and observe other native species such as the San Cristobal mockingbird, the mangrove canary, and the Galapagos flycatcher.

After the visit, we'll return to the cruise ship and you'll spend the rest of the day on your own until dinner.

Day 2: Isla Española

In the morning, we'll set sail for Isla Española, one of the smallest islands in the Galapagos archipelago. Did you know that it's also called Hood Island, in honor of the British Admiral Samuel Hood?

On this islet, we'll visit Gardner Bay, where we'll see sea lions and sharks, and you'll have time to relax on its beautiful beaches and swim or snorkel in its crystal-clear waters.

In the afternoon, we'll travel to Punta Suarez, a rugged corner of Isla Española, home to several seabird colonies. From its high cliffs, you can enjoy a spectacular view and watch the swift dives of these birds.

We'll end the day by returning to the cruise ship for dinner and a good night's rest.

Day 3: Isla Floreana

The third day will be spent visiting Isla Floreana, starting at Post Office Bay. The history of this name includes pirates, letters, and a barrel. Hooked? Don't worry, we'll tell you all about it!

We'll visit this location, accessing the viewpoint of the Baroness, dedicated to Eloisa Von Wagner, one of the first inhabitants of the island, who loved to spend her time in this place.

On Isla Floreana, we'll find the Champion islet, where one of the largest flamingo lagoons of the archipelago is located. We'll witness these elegant pink-feathered birds, as well as other birds such as the stilt or the ruddy duck, and walk along the Verde and Flour Sand beaches.

We'll end the day with dinner on board the ship.

Day 4:  Isla Santa Fe - Isla Santa Cruz

We'll sail to the center of the Galapagos to reach the Isla de Santa Fe island. Did you know that, according to experts, it could be the oldest island of the archipelago?

Santa Fe is home to endemic species such as the Galapagos hawk, the Galapagos snake, the lava lizard, and the Santa Fe land iguana. We'll walk along a trail on the island to learn about its native vegetation, including salt bushes and giant prickly pear cacti

On the second part of the day, we'll visit Santa Cruz Island, the second largest island in the Galapagos. Here we'll have the chance to see tortoises in one of its reserves and on the agricultural farms.

We'll also visit the pond of the giant tortoise reserve El Chato and go into the surrounding forest to look for Darwin's finches, Galapagos skimmers, or flycatchers in the undergrowth.

The day will end with dinner on board.

Day 5: Los Gemelos - Isla Baltra

On the last day of our luxury cruise, we'll visit Los Gemelos, two inactive and identical craters. We'll discover how these impressive cavities, similar to deep and enormous holes in the ground, were formed. Los Gemelos is surrounded by a lush cloudy forest formed by a tall tree, the scalesia, endemic to the Galapagos.

After enjoying this magnificent scenery, we'll return to the cruise ship to sail to the island of Isla Baltra. Once on land, we'll get off the ship and take you to the airport for your return flight.
