San Antonio Zoo has different themed areas divided into habitats:
- Cat Grotto: a place where you'll find small cats such as the caracal, clouded leopard and black-footed cat. This area with water flowing over the rocks has reptiles from all over the world, such as snakes, turtles or lizards.
- Africa Live!: here, you'll meet the world-famous hippos, Timothy and Uma, as well as a Nile crocodile, a variety of fish, Okapi, African wild dogs, and more!
- Neotropica: in this one, you'll feel the exuberance of a remote South American fishing village. This area is home to jaguars, Amazon birds, monkeys, mammals, fish and reptiles.

- Asian Forest: this forest is a haven created for some of the zoo’s most laid-back residents, the Komodo dragon. You can also see gibbons, langurs, and Asian small-clawed otters.

Schedule
San Antonio Zoo is open daily from 9 am to 5 pm. Admission is allowed up to 1 hour before closing time. However, please note that these opening hours are subject to change.
