Welcome to San Antonio! Over the course of two hours, we'll explore some of the must-see sights of the historic centre of this colonial Texan city. To start, we'll enter the Missions National Historical Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where we'll see some of its highlights, such as the Mission Concepción and the Alamo.
After learning about the history of the Battle of the Alamo, we'll go to the River Walk, a waterway where we'll learn about the mixture of culture and architecture that can be seen along its 24-kilometre (14.9-mile) length. We'll also visit the historic Market Square. Did you know that it's one of the largest in the United States? You'll be fascinated!
4-Hour Tour
If you feel like discovering more of San Antonio, this tour is for you. After visiting Market Square, we'll head to the Cathedral of San Fernando, an imposing 18th century Gothic style church.
Next stop is the King William Historic District, where we'll see perfectly preserved mansions from the 19th century. We'll also visit the Spanish Governor's Palace, a place that, according to legend, is haunted. Is it true? We'll find out!
8-Hour Tour
If you have a whole day to explore San Antonio, this option is for you. We'll complete the tour by visiting Pearl Brewery, an area where we'll learn about the importance of beer in San Antonio by visiting the many restaurants and bars.
We'll round off the tour with a visit to the Southtown neighbourhood, a place full of art and atmosphere that is sure to charm you.
