San Antonio Food Tour
Description
When making a reservation, you can choose between 2 options. Both include an English-speaking guide and the mentioned tastings and last between 2 and 2.5 hours. These are the two options available:
Pearl District food tour
Starting in Pearl Parkway, we'll commence this Pearl District food tour, an area in San Antonio where history and creativity combine. We'll walk its main streets in search of the best food offers.
We'll visit unique restaurants and original beer houses from the 19th century. The Pearl District is one of San Antonio's neighbourhoods with the most history. We'll visit the old Boiler House, where we'll try some of the most traditional Tex-Mex dishes.
Then, we'll go to The Larder, one of the most popular places with locals, where we'll try some gourmet products. Additionally, we'll enjoy the delightful atmosphere around the Hotel Emma and discover the history of its iconic beer house.
We'll walk along the San Antonio River's edge and spot the many bars and restaurants in this area. Did you know it's one of the best places to try street food in San Antonio?
To finish off, we'll head to a peculiar bar in a hundred-year-old train wagon. Here, we'll have a delicious ice cream for dessert.
Central San Antonio food tour
If you want to discover the history of San Antonio via its food, this is the tour for you. After meeting at Alamo Plaza, we'll head by food to some of the best bars in the city's centre, where Tex-Mex food is abundant.
We'll tell you the story of the Alamo Mission as we walk by the river way in San Antonio. Near here, we'll visit a restaurant where we'll try BBQ tacos and the famous Big Red. We'll continue our food tour trying delicacies at The Esquire Tavern and tacos in one of the most famous bars in the area.
Additionally, we'll try an ice cream that Bill Clinton fell in love with. Do you know it's known as "one of the greatest treasures of American life"? Without a doubt, it's the icing on the cake of this experience.
