In this tour, you'll learn all about Gaucho customs in San Antonio de Areco, a local town in the middle of Argentina. Essential if you want to discover this country's culture!

Description

At the scheduled time we'll meet at the agreed location and begin our day full of Gaucho culture in the historic town of San Antonio de Areco. Did you know that this location is the place of origin of the first Argentine Gauchos?

To begin, we'll take part in a guided tour around San Antonio de Areco, this is an essential part of any visit to this town, to learn about the colonial architecture and its artisan workshops. Did you know that it's considered one of the most beautiful towns in the Argentine Pampas?

Moreover, during the tour, we'll see the San Antonio de Padua church and different workshops, among which the silversmiths and saddlers, who work with silver and leather respectively, are most renowned. After these visits, we'll make our way to the Estancia El Ombú de Areco, where we'll experience Gaucho culture in its purest form.

We'll get to know the Gauchos who live on the farm, and beyond that, we'll sit alongside them at the table to enjoy a full lunch that includes empanadillas, roasted meats and typical desserts.

With our bellies full, we'll take part in a horse or carriage ride, you decide! During the tour, we'll cover 300 hectares (741 acres) and get a real feel for what rural Argentina is like, with its cows, sheep, horses and a multitude of birds.

After, we'll keep learning about the Gaucho culture listening to classical guitar and enjoying folk dancing. To put the cherry on top, you can attend different equestrian shows, like the Indian dressage or the Troop. You'll be left completely amazed!

After 10 hours of experiencing real Gaucho culture, the tour will come to an end.
