Explore the magnificent, colourful sea beds of San Andrés with this beginner's scuba diving activity at the San Andrés Barrier Reef.

Beginners Scuba Diving

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in San Andrés and head to the diving school, where we'll meet the certified instructors who will be guiding you during the activity.

After filling in some questionnaires, you'll receive about 30 minutes of training on how to use scuba diving equipment and techniques. Then, you'll experience the incredible sensation of diving in the Caribbean waters. Accompanied by the instructor, you'll explore a whole new world full of colour and life: fish, corals, starfish... An unforgettable experience for your first-time scuba diving!

You'll be accompanied by a monitor so you can dive safely and explore the rich seabed of the San Andrés reef, the third-largest barrier reef in the world. The maximum depth of the one dive we'll be doing be 12 metres (nearly 40 feet).

After 40 minutes of diving, we'll take you back to your hotel, arriving 3 hours after departure.

Amei o mergulho, foi minha primeir experiência, o instrutor nos deixou realmente seguros. Fica um instrutor responsável por 2 pessoas, então é realmente tranquilo. A flora é maravilhosa, vi diversos peixes e um arraia. Fiz no período da tarde, algumas pessoas comentaram que pela manhã há mais peixes, então pode ser que seja ainda melhor. Única coisa ruim, foi que atrasaram em nos pegar no hotel, então acabou atrasando também o mergulho. Translate this opinion into English.

I loved diving, it was my first experience, the instructor made us really safe. There is one instructor responsible for 2 people, so it's really peaceful. The flora is wonderful, I saw several fish and a stingray. I did it in the afternoon, some people commented that there are more fish in the morning, so it might be even better. The only bad thing was that they were late in picking us up at the hotel, so it ended up delaying the diving as well. Opinion translated. Show original.
