At the appointed time, we'll meet at Finca Tierra Activa, a women-run ecological hacienda where we'll learn all the secrets of coffee production.
After being welcomed with some harvested fruit, we'll begin the coffee experience by getting to know the spaces at the farm dedicated to coffee cultivation. Then, we'll give you a basket, a sack and a hat so that you can begin walking through the fields, picking your own coffee beans under the supervision of the farm's owners.
Then we'll see how the fermentation process works, admiring the pulping machine and the coffee washing tanks. Next, we'll go through the drying area and make a selection of the best quality beans, those that meet the requirements for the organic coffee certification seal so that the coffee can be sold on the international market.
You'll love what comes next: we'll prepare an artisanal cup of organic coffee! Each participant will roast about 30 grams of coffee in a clay pot and grind it in a traditional mill. Finally, we'll treat our taste buds to a cup of pure Colombian coffee, which we'll accompany with tortas or corn arepas.
After this immersive experience, we'll say goodbye after a two-hour tour.

If you select the tour with a meal, depending on the time you have booked, you'll have breakfast (eggs, fruit, arepas, homemade bread, coffee or hot chocolate), lunch (starter, main course, dessert and a drink), or dinner (starter, main course and a drink) included.
