Tour Details

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at Hubert-Sattler-Gasse 1 and leave Salzburg behind to drive to the Berchtesgaden salt mines.

On the way there, we'll pass the Königseeache river and the mountainous Obersalzberg area, where the leaders of the Third Reich once lived. Arriving at the mine, we'll put on our miner's costumes to enter this incredible subway world.

As we walk through the corridors once used by the workers in this area, we'll explain how this mineral was worked, what the day-to-day life of the miners was like and the risks they faced on a daily basis. During the tour, you will have the opportunity to slide down the mining slides, a unique experience.

To round off the visit to the Salzburg mines, we'll board a wooden raft for a ride on a salt lake. We'll travel through these unbelievable subway labyrinths again aboard the mining train and return to the outside world.

Before returning to Salzburg, we'll make a stop in the village of Berchtesgaden, and then we'll take you back to the starting point, where we'll say goodbye after a total of 4 hours.

La visita ha estado genial, los paisajes hasta la llegada a la mina espectaculares. La unica pega ha sido el idioma. El guía era en ingles, y aunque lo sabiamos, la pronunciación no eramos capaces de entender nada... El nivel de ingles que tengo es basico, pero a otras personas si les suelo entender. Es la única pega, no poder entender sus explicacionew, eso es culpa nuestra, pero como crítica constructiva que se habilite un traductor, estaría genial Translate this opinion into English.

The visit was great, the landscapes until arriving at the mine were spectacular. The only drawback was the language. The guide was in English, and although we knew it, we were not able to understand the pronunciation at all... My level of English is basic, but I do understand other people. That is the only drawback, not being able to understand their explanations, that is our fault, but as constructive criticism, a translator would be great. Opinion translated. Show original.

La visita alle.miniere non vale il prezzo. Bello il trenino, divertenti gli scivoli, suggestiva la navigazione, ma il resto della visita è troppo esplicativo dell'attività estrattiva attuale (e i televisori con i video così piccoli non si vedono perchè i gruppi sono numerosi). Avendo fatto la visita alle miniere di Cracovia, questa è appena sufficiente.
